About 2008 Ford F-150
The Cargo Management System is available on any truck with the 6.5-ft. Styleside box. It comes with two side rails, a pair of bins, a pair of crossbars and a header bar. Extra bins and crossbars are easily added when needed.
The F-150 gets a new Rearview Camera System mounted in the tailgate handle bezel. It is activated when the vehicle is shifted into reverse, giving the driver a clear view behind the vehicle. The video image is displayed in the self-dimming rearview mirror. For those truckers that tow, this system gives them the additional visibility they need to back up to their trailer and lineup to hook up the hitch with precision.
Other new features for 2008 include a tachometer on F-150 XL and STX with manual transmissions. Remote start is now available as a factory-installed option. Manual telescoping Trailer Tow Mirrors with Power Glass and Chrome Skull Caps are available with F-150 XLT and Lariat Chrome Packages. A Tire Pressure Monitoring System is now included in the Heavy Duty Package.
